Born out of frustration and a need to do something to help, Samantha Finnegan launched Madebox during the peak of Victoria’s second lockdown.

The best way to get to the heart of a place is via its food, local specialties and experiences, and Sam has always been fascinated by small producers and how they dedicate their lives to their individual crafts. With a background in business development, marketing and tourism, the recent challenges prompted her to want to act and find a proactive, sustainable solution that connects makers to people who want to help, in a way that encourages future growth.
